ENVT 1000 - Human Impact on the Environment This course includes the technical, economic, and political aspects of the impacts that humans have on the environment. This course is an Introduction to specific problems dealing with many energy generation and pollution issues. This course is an overview of energy production processes, industrial pollution problems, water, air, noise, solid and hazardous wastes, along with economic and environmental concerns.
Prerequisites: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing and approval from the Mathematics & Science division Contact Hours: 15 lecture hours per semester Credits: (1)
