GEOL 1060 - ♦Earth’s Environments

This course is an introduction to geology as it relates to human activities.  Topics include geologic hazards, global climate trends, resource depletion, and pollution.

Semester Availability: SPRING ONLY - Semester Availability is subject to change.  See your advisor.  Course may be offered through TN eCampus.

Prerequisites: GEOL 1040  
Corequisites: GEOL 1060L

Contact Hours: Three lecture hours per week
Laboratory Hours: Two laboratory/field hours per week
General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
