FREN 1010 - Beginning French I

This is an elementary course in the essentials of French with an emphasis on listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The course provides an introduction to the culture and history of France and the French-speaking world.

Prerequisites: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing.
Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester
