PTA 222 - *Functional Neuroanatomy


Functional Neuroanatomy provides an overview of the normal anatomy and function of the human nervous system and deficits as they relate to the neurological and musculoskeletal systems.  Beginning discussion of pathological conditions as well as trauma to the neurological system and resultant rehabilitation considerations are included. 

Semester Availability: FALL ONLY - Semester availability is subject to change.  See your advisor.

PREREQUISITES: PTA 210, PTA 221, PTA 253, and PTA 250.
Hours: Fifteen lecture and thirty laboratory hours per semester.
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs

This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
