HIT 230 - *Reimbursement Methodologies

A study of the uses of coded data and health information in reimbursement and payment systems appropriate to all healthcare settings and managed care.

Semester Availability: SPRING ONLY - Semester Availability is subject to change.  See your advisor.

Course may be offered through RODP.

PREREQUISITES: HIT 210, HIT 215
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs

This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
