RAD 111C* - Clinical Education I

This course is designed to allow students to orient to the hospital environmnet. Student are assigned to a clinical site and are expected to achieve limited proficienty in routine radiographic exams. The concentration for student competency is centered on the chest, abdomen, upper and lower extremities and the vertebral column.

COREQUISITES: RAD 110*, RAD 120*, RAD 130*, RAD 231*.
Hours: A minimum of 280 hours of supervised clinical education is required.
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
