RAD 221* - Radiographic Physics I An introductory study of the basic principles of atomic structure, radioactivity, magnetism, electricity, and mechanics. These fundamental aspects of radiation physics which are required to understand the nature and production of x-rays.
PREREQUISITES: RAD 113C*, RAD 200*, MATH 1010 or 1130. COREQUISITES: RAD 122*, RAD 211C*. Hours: Three lecture hours per week. Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
